Ocular Medical Visits
All Albertans are covered by Alberta Health Care for medically necessary and urgent care visits to their optometrist. Optometrists have the proper knowledge, tools and equipment necessary to diagnose, treat, prescribe medications, and refer to a specialist, if needed. Dr. Singh works with other health care providers to ensure you have the best care possible. Please bring your Alberta Health Care Card.
Eye Infections
Dr. Singh will help treat your ocular infection, if oral or topical antibiotics are needed, they will be prescribed to you by Dr. Singh.
Eye Injuries
Any eye injuries that are manageable in-house will be managed by Dr. Singh. If a referral to a hospital or specialist is required, then Macleod Optometry will refer as needed.
Sudden Changes in Vision
Sudden changes in vision may be as simple as dry eyes, but, could also be very serious. Come see Dr. Singh immediately for any sudden changes in vision.
Monitoring for Diabetes Issues, Glaucoma and Retinal Disease
Macleod Optometry is equipped with all the latest diagnostic equipment to treat and manage various conditions. This includes glaucoma, macular degeneration, hypertensive retinopathy and diabetic retinopathy.
Post Operative Care for Cataract Patients
Macleod Optometry works alongside ophthalmologists to not only refer patients for cataract surgery, but, also provide postoperative care for patients as needed.
