Dr. Tamas started his training at the University of Calgary and further went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University in Florida. He is particularly interested in the study of ocular disease and binocular vision, and enjoys working with the pediatric population. He has training in rigid gas permeable contact lens fitting, including patients with keratoconus and pellucid marginal degeneration. Dr. Tamas can diagnose and treat glaucoma independently, until surgery is required. He is also able to give consultations regarding laser surgery correction.
